APPLICATION DIRECTIONS

Say hello to Alumicoat, the first ceramic coating for Aluminum surfaces!

Alumicoat is a highly durable, high heat resistant aluminum protection system that is easy to apply on many metal surfaces. Once applied, Alumicoat will create a hard chemical resistant layer that protects from UV rays, brake dust, and natural wear and tear. Surfaces become extremely easy to clean with hydrophobic properties, keeping cleanup easy and quick. The coating can last up to 2 years, no polishing is required!
Safe to use on rims, fuel tanks, valve covers, exhaust pipes, and other chrome and aluminum surfaces.
Use a minimum of 2 layers to attain 1-2yrs of protection. You can add additional layers for a higher protection level.
Application is to be done by hand.

Hand Application

  1. Clean your aluminum surface with acetone/windex mix or IPA surfactant cleaner to remove all oils and contamination. Not cleaning the surface entirely before application will result in product failure.
  2. Prime the applicator pad (6 – 8 drops).
  3. Apply 4 – 5 drops on the applicator per a section around 2ft x 2ft.
  4. Apply the coating in a circular motion overlapping by roughly 1 inch on the surface to make an even layer.
  5. Wait 8 – 10 minutes before removing.
  6. Allow 1 hour to pass before applying the 2nd layer or any further layers after the 2nd layer.
  7. Allow AT LEAST 8 hours before using the surface. Do not get wet or wash the surface. It is recommended that you wait 7 days before initial use or cleaning of the surface after it is coated. While you can use or clean after 8 hours, the hardness and integrity of the coating strengthens day by day. Therefore, for optimal results, we recommend you wait 7 days before washing or using the surface.
